Store Closing Information
After 10 years, FunkyLala.com will be closing. We'd like to take this quick opportunity to thank you for your support.
Regarding store closing purchases, please note the following:
- All sales are FINAL - No returns or exchanges will be accepted.
- If there is a problem with any item you receive, please follow the instructions here.
Any confirmed defects or incorrect shipments will qualify for an exception to the final sale return policy.
- Please send all inquiries via email. We will do our best to answer your questions and address your concerns within 24 hours, however,
depending on the volume of inquiries, please allow up to 72 hours (business days).
- If you encounter product issues that arise after our closing, we will do our best, still, to facilitate a handling of the issue with the manufacturer.
The customerservice@funkylala.com email address will remain active for a period of time to allow us to address your concerns.

Order Processing
Your credit card will not be charged until your order ships. Orders are processed Monday through Friday.
Please allow 1-5 days for your order to be processed and shipped.
Funky Lala cannot always guarantee the availability of items. Items that are not currently in stock will generally be noted by '***' in your shopping cart. During promotions, items may sell out quickly. Items that are sold out will be removed from your order and available options noted via email. Unavailable items will not be restocked.

Domestic Shipping
Shipping fees are calculated by FedEx and UPS in real time based on the weight and distance the package is traveling. During the checkout process, you will have the option to select a shipping option. Your order will be updated to reflect the additional charges associated with your selected shipping preference.
Shipping fees are non-refundable.

International Shipping
Funky Lala offers international shipping through the United States Postal Service (USPS), UPS and through FedEx.
Shipping fees for FedEx and UPS are calculated in real time based on the weight and distance the package is traveling. All packages are insured with a signature requirement at delivery.
Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Verification
For all international orders, we are required for your protection to confirm the billing address with the issuing bank of your credit card. This will be done prior to your order being shipped. In some cases, we may contact you to request a photocopy or scan of your credit card (front and back) and a government issued photo ID with your name and address (this address must match your billing address). This information can be sent via fax or email. If this is the first time you are ordering with us, you can submit this information upon completion of your order to speed up the processing time. If you are a returning customer using the same billing information, the above verifications will not be required.
Customs
Customs levied by the destination country on an order are the sole responsibility of the customer. This includes all additional taxes, import fees, customs fees, surcharges and tariffs. Brokerage fees assessed by the carrier or destination country are also the responsibility of the shipper. Unfortunately, Funky Lala cannot determine the amount (if any at all) that will be charged by the destination country. We recommend you contact the Customs Department of your country to determine if any additional charges will be applied to your order upon delivery. In most cases, FedEx or UPS will assume the customs charges and bill the recipient directly. Funky Lala does not receive any money collected from customs fees.
If the customs fees are not paid by the customer, it will be returned to Funky Lala. We will be held responsible for this return shipment and will accordingly deduct the original shipment charge, return shipment charge and any additional customs or brokerage charges prior to issuing a refund of the original order.

Returns, Exchanges + Store Credit
Returns and Exchanges
All sales are final. Returns and exchanges will not be accepted on any items.
When you receive your order, please check all items for accuracy and condition. In doing so, please be sure not to damage, scuff or otherwise alter the item(s).
Damaged / Mis-Shipped Items
Claims of damage, non-receipt or incorrect items must be received within three (3) days of receipt of your order to be eligible for any return policy exception. All items are inspected prior to shipment, however, if you do believe you have received a damaged item, please include a detailed description of the damage. Items received without a return authorization number or without notification within the specified three (3) days will be accepted at the discretion of Funky Lala.
*Occasionally your item will come with the tags detached. Tags will be included, in your package, or in an interior pocket of a bag. The tags have been removed so as not to cause damage to the item during shipment.

Sale Items, Promotional Codes and Price Adjustments
Sale Items
When sale items are added to your cart the sale price will automatically be reflected. Simply shop and check out as you normally would. Please note, Clearance items are final sale and can only be returned for store credit or exchange - please see Returns, Exchanges + Store Credit for more details.
Promotional Codes
Terms for any active promotional codes can be found at www.funkylala.com/code_terms.php. The terms of use on any promotional code supersede the terms of any general purchase. Please be sure to read the terms of use for any code before completing your purchase. Promotional codes may not be applied to any order that has already shipped.
If you have a promotional code, please enter the discount code in the 'Discount Code' box during the checkout process. Your discount will be calculated and available for your review prior to confirming your order. If your code does not appear on the order confirmation page, please confirm that the terms of the code apply to the item(s) in your order.
If you have purchased an item using a promotional code and that item cannot be shipped due to damage or item availability issues, you will be allowed to substitute an item in your purchase. Substitutions must be made within three (3) days of the expiration of the promotional code.
Price Adjustments
Price adjustments will not be issued on shipped orders. If your order has not shipped, please email us.
Sales Tax
All orders billed to the state of New York will be charged a sales tax. Orders for items over $110 will be billed 8.375% Sales Tax. Orders for any item equal to or under $110 will not be charged sales tax.

Privacy Policy
When you make a purchase online at FunkyLala.com your name, email address, billing and shipping addresses, phone number and credit card information will be collected. This information is necessary to process and ship your order. We will never rent, sell, share or otherwise disseminate your email address or any of your private information.
We also have a mailing list that we encourage you to sign up for. We regularly send out emails announcing new merchandise, sales, events and other happenings we think may be of interest to you. If you do subscribe to our mailing list and decide you no longer would like to receive it, you can of course unsubscribe by clicking the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of every communication you receive from us.

Online Security
All of your online transactions are encrypted and completely secure in addition to our very current fraud protection programs - so no worries.
We use several mechanisms to protect your information. It is our top priority to keep your information completely confidential. In order to purchase an item from FunkyLala.com you are asked to enter your e-mail address and create a password. Once you have logged in, SSL technology (Secure Sockets Layer) is employed to insure the security of your transaction. SSL technology functions by encrypting the information you enter and communicating through a secure server. This information cannot be decoded by anybody outside of the store you shop with. You can check to see that the SSL certificate is active by looking for a closed lock or unbroken key at the bottom of your browser window. This lock or key indicates the security of your connection.
In some cases an order will be placed on a security check. This means that there may be additional steps we must take to ensure the security of your order. In some cases we will require you to give us additional information to complete processing your order. This may mean you faxing us your driver's license or other government issued ID and/or matching credit card to assure you are the holder of the card. This is done to insure your protection and security and is not done in all cases. You will be contacted via email if further identity verification is required.

Shopping at Funky Lala is an experience designed for your ease and enjoyment. Here are some basic tips on navigation:
- To add an item to your cart, simply click the 'Add to Cart' button on each product page or below the thumbnail images.
- To view your cart at any time, simply click the 'Shopping Bag' link on the left navigation or top navigation.
- To remove an item from your cart, simply go to your shopping cart and click box next to the item you'd like to remove under the 'Remove' column then click 'Update' button at the bottom of the page.
- To adjust the quantities of items in your cart highlight the number in the 'Quantity' field and enter the amount you'd like to purchase. Then click the 'Update' button at the bottom of the page.
- To view a product in your cart, click on the image of the product you'd like to view.
- To purchase the items in your cart, click the 'Checkout' link from the top navigation. You can also begin the checkout process from your cart by clicking the 'Checkout' button at the bottom of the page. Login or click 'Continue' to create a new account.
- To return to your account at any time, click the 'Account Login' link in the left navigation or the top header.
